Swing Bed Services

For patients no longer needing an inpatient stay, but needing more care than they could receive at home, a Swing Bed stay may be a great option. Medicare and some insurance companies will cover the cost of a Swing Bed stay. In general, most patients are eligible for a Swing Bed stay after a three-day qualifying inpatient stay. They must also have an ongoing need for skilled care. That need may include: extended IV medication therapy, extensive wound-care therapy, care related to a terminal diagnosis, daily occupational, physical or speech therapy.
